Powered by powerful Core i7
This is one of the rare sub-$1,000 laptops that comes with a high-end 8th generation Core i7 processor. It has 4 physical cores and 4 virtual ones, which, when automatically overclocked, reach a frequency of 4.6 GHz. Otherwise, we have a fairly standard 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The graphics card was sacrificed in favor of the processor, so instead of discrete video, the simplest integrated graphics core Intel HD 620 is installed here. That is, this is a purely working laptop that is not particularly suitable for games.
No noise and no heat
But such equipment made it extremely quiet and cold even under heavy load. Plus, this is a very energy-efficient option, which has a positive effect on the battery life of the laptop. From 6 to 10.5 hours at base load and average screen brightness is a decent result for this class.
Weight less than 2 kg
The weight of the model is only 1.78 kg with dimensions of 376x246x23 mm. This is one of the lightest models in its class, such a baby will not cause trouble for daily carrying in a bag or backpack. The surface of the case made of matte plastic, according to user reviews, is quite easily soiled, so fingerprints have to be wiped periodically. This can hardly be called a big minus, rather, the oddity is that usually matte plastic does not sin like that.
Without USB-C, but with a DVD burner
All in all, the HP 250 G7 leaves the impression of a reliable but inexpensive laptop, in which the manufacturer tried to cut off excess fat as much as possible. This concerns not the coolest SVA matrix with a modest margin of brightness, the missing graphics card and not the most modern port equipment. For example, USB-C was never delivered. Although for mid-range models, this is still in the order of things. But for some reason they put a DVD burner. Who needs it in the new decade and why didn't they save on it in the first place?

War in Ukraine. These Russian pi..ry hit the infrastructure. Briefly speaking. We bought an HP 250 G7 laptop back in 2021. When the lights began to turn off, I downloaded The Simpsons in Ukrainian, of course (I write in Russian, so that the Russians understand). So here are the Three Seasons via Torrent from 30 to 32. I saw the rest. And for five hours in the "energy saving" mode, it dropped from one hundred percent to 34! And at the same time, the lamp with USB was powered from it and also the Internet hawal from the phone, I was sitting in the cart. How do you feel? The laptop is great. We put additional memory here. In general, there are no complaints. And the most important thing. I love beer. And I poured it on him. And he loves it too. Because it works and never glitches. But I didn't like Windows 11. До покупки читав розгорнутий огляд, де було зазначено, що «дуже низька якість монітору не дозволяє дивитися контент і дана модель не може буди рекомендована для покупки».
Я подумав, що ці «просунуті» експерти дещо перебільшують, тому що «розбалувані» дорогими моделями з IPS дисплеями. Я 15 років використаю робочі та домашні ноутбуки, тому був готовий, змиритися із застарілим монітором SVA, зважуючи на відносно доступну ціну та пристойне залізо цієї моделі ноутбука. В реальності, монітор це дійсно жах! Недостатня яскравість та «жовто-сірий» колір замість білого. Працювати за ним дуже важко та некомфортно. Другий суттєвий недолік – на ньому залишаються та видно всі видбитки пальців, навіть ретельно вимитих рук! Це дивно для «рифленого» та полу-матового кольору кормусу типу «Dark Ash Silver». «-» Жахливий монітор, та «замацаний» чистими руками корпус Зараз він подорожчав і коштує не $650, а вже більше $900, а і я дуже не раджу його купувати. У жовтні 2020 року цей «бюджетний» ноутбук за $650 мав досить добре «залізо».
ПЛЮСИ: + процесор Intel 4 ядра 8 потоків + SSD 256 + дискретна відеокарта 2Гб. + пам’ять 8Гб з можливістю її збільшення до 16Гб. + порівняно легкий (1,8 кг.), як для ноута з монітором 15,6" + G7 - це «надійна та проста» лінійка від бренду HP для бізнесу МІНУСИ:
