I put 2 of these three years ago in a private house of 50m2. The temperature is set to +20. On the second floor it holds +20, and on the first floor +16, with an outside temperature of 0 to -15. In summer I cool only the second floor, in any heat I turn it on for one or two hours in the evening. Not an expensive model. With more or less normal insulation, it quickly catches up with both heat and cold. Economical. Very noisy! Plastic keeps cracking! In winter, the outdoor unit is sometimes very noisy. I used to do electronics at an amateur level, made some homemade products and I understand what advantages inverter control gives to an air conditioner, so I wanted to buy an inverter air conditioner. But models from well-known and well-established manufacturers still didn’t fit into my modest budget, and I didn’t want to take a loan for this at all, I don’t like to overpay. As a result, I took a chance and took this Chinese device with an inverter compressor. The brand is little known, but there seems to be a service in our area and a two-year warranty was given for it, which, as it were, pleases. The model is new, 2016 model year, but it worked well. True, I immediately admit that I have only had it in work for two months and regularly turn on only about 40 days. It cools a room with an area of 19 square meters, but the matter is complicated by the fact that the room is corner and the sun first shines through one southeast window, and then into two southwest ones. Without air conditioning here in the summer it was generally a natural hell, the temperature reached 32 degrees. But with his installation, everything changed. You can even set it to 19 Celsius and after about 35-40 minutes the room will really have such cheerful freshness. But we don't need such an extreme when it's hot outside, anything below 23 degrees often leads to serious colds, so I set the temperature on the remote control to 24-25 degrees. With this mode, the air conditioner copes generally easily. The air filter is normal, removable, washable. The fact that the outdoor unit is noisy is not important, but I thought about the indoor unit that it would be much quieter. However, the room is still not inhabited, and the buzzing of the fan is not loud, so this also does not affect anything. |
When I bought my first air conditioner five years ago, the difference in price between inverter and non-inverter models was much more significant and I had to limit myself to a conventional unit. And now this border has blurred so much that you can buy a full-fledged inverter air conditioner for literally 300 bucks! Well, okay, for $310. But this does not change the essence of the matter. If ten years ago inverters were made only by selected manufacturers (as a rule, they were Japanese concerns), now the Chinese have adopted this technology, which greatly reduced prices. Don't let the European name fool you, it's 100% Chinese. Sellers may like to talk about a Norwegian company and meticulous Scandinavian engineers, but I believe more in enterprising Chinese. The guys came to Europe, opened a company, registered a trademark and successfully make big sales of household appliances that are very cheap by European standards. Why not "success story"? )) But, unlike complete nonames and one-day brands, this company and trademark has existed for a long time and is slowly moving from the category of "cheap and very cheerful" to the category of "inexpensive, but more or less reliable." The fact that they began to give a two-year warranty on air conditioners is already a big step forward. This particular air conditioner was installed in a 15-meter room with three-meter high ceilings. Does a great job. It cools strongly, quickly gains the desired temperature and then reduces the fan speed and quietly works in the keep warm mode. At night, you can sleep peacefully with it, it does not interfere. Consumes electricity economically. A short power cord, and I don’t understand why it’s such a short length at all. Anyway, to change it or completely remove it, so we would save on this. At first, at night, the bright LED backlight on the front panel and its complete absence on the remote control screen annoyed me. |
