Atlant M 7184-003 220 L

Atlant M-7184 is a model of the Belarusian manufacturer of household appliances "Atlant", very popular in the territory of the former Soviet Union. Do not think that it looks like old refrigerators. This freezer will fit into the interior of a modern kitchen and is presented in three colours – white, golden and red.

Externally, it is compact, not exceeding the size of average "freezers", but in fact it is quite a roomy unit. The volume of the interior space is 220 liters and is divided into six sections consisting of drawers with transparent front walls. Each drawer has convenient handles that facilitate their transportation when placing products in the chamber. The door and handle can be hung on the side, more convenient for use. And the camera is controlled using rotary switches.

The maximum freezing temperature is -18° C. In the event of a power outage, it will rise to -9°C within 17 hours. The fast freeze mode cools the camera to the selected temperature in a short period of time. Antibacterial protection provides longer storage and at the same time eliminates unpleasant odour, affecting bacteria and destroying them at the cellular level.

The energy consumption class of this model is A+. Low power consumption will provide cost savings. But the defrosting system is manual – twice a year you will need to turn off the camera yourself, get food and defrost. This is not very convenient, but it is typical of all low-cost models. And systems with No Frost are much more expensive.

Gorenje F 6181 AW 270 L

Slovenian company Gorenje is a well–known manufacturer of household appliances from Europe. In this review, we consider the Gorenje F 6181 – a freezer with energy efficiency class A+ and modern design. The model comes in two colours – grey and white.

The F 6181 is suitable for those who are looking for an inexpensive, but high-quality model with a large volume and do not want to pay for automatic defrosting and other "chips". The total volume of the camera is 309 liters, of which 261 liters is useful. This is the best indicator in the selection (together with the expensive Liebherr GN 3023). In addition, it has a large freezing capacity (25 kg / day). And the maximum cooling temperature is -25 degrees Celsius. The user is provided with eight extendable compartments. They are transparent, like the other review participants, so that you can see what products they have inside.

The control is mechanical by means of rotary switches, which is typical of inexpensive models. The doors and handle of the Gorenje can be outweighed on the other side. Therefore, the camera can be installed in any corner of the room. And besides, it has height-adjustable legs.

In the event of a power outage, the freezer keeps the sub-zero temperature for about 28 hours. Defrosting at Gorenje F 6181 is manual, which means that twice a year you will need to get rid of frost (you will have to temporarily release the camera from products). Electrolux EUF 2042 AOW 181 L

This model of the Swedish company Electrolux has a Hungarian assembly and an elegant appearance. It comes in grey and white and has an A+ energy consumption class. The internal space of the freezer is 181 liters. This is a smaller indicator among the models in the selection, but the camera is also small (its height is 1.5 m). Inside, it is divided into six compartments with sliding drawers. They have a transparent front wall for visibility of their contents, as well as convenient carrying handles. For example, this will come in handy when you want to get all the products from one compartment.

As in previous models, the doors and handle can be hung on the other side. At the same time, this model is equipped with an electronic touch control and an LCD display. Therefore, it is easier to monitor its operating temperature than the Atlant M-7184 and Gorenje F 6181 models.

The automatic NoFrost system eliminates the manual defrosting of the chamber from frost and ice, but at the same time, once a year the freezer needs to be ventilated. For the summer season, you will be provided with chilled drinks thanks to the DrinksChill system. In a short time, the prepared juices and other drinks will be cooled, and their readiness is accompanied by an audible signal.

The FastFreeze function activates fast freezing of products to preserve the maximum amount of useful vitamins. And then the operation of the freezer automatically returns to standard mode after achieving the desired result. The properties of the freezer are ordinary. The maximum cooling temperature in it is -24 °C. And in case of a power outage, the cabinet is able to keep the sub-zero temperature for about 18 hours.

Gorenje FN 6192 OX 243 L

Gorenje FN 6192 OX is a premium freezer with the appropriate appearance and build quality. This model has a grey body coating stylized as stainless steel. You can configure the operation of the unit using an electronic panel with LED indication. And, most importantly, the FN 6192 OX is one of a dozen energy—efficient cabinets with energy consumption class A++ (237 kW/year) and No Frost system. And this is the only one among the models we are considering with the A++ class.

The freezer is high (191 cm), and the internal useful volume is 243 liters out of 277 liters. The maximum cooling temperature is -24°C. The interior space is divided into seven compartments. Drawers are retractable, with transparent walls for a quick assessment of the contents. The convenience of searching the contents in the boxes will also provide the presence of internal LED lighting.

The freezer is capable of storing cold for 15 hours during a power outage. This is the lowest indicator among the presented models. So if your electricity is often cut off, this is probably not the best choice.

Liebherr GN 3023 is a premium model from a German manufacturer, which, according to customer reviews, is assembled in Germany, and has a 3–year warranty. Its height is 184 cm, and the body is made of steel. The freezer is made in white with a removable door that can be hung on both the right and left sides. And thanks to the front ventilation, the unit can be placed tightly against the wall or inserted into a niche.

The interior space of the cabinet is large and is 261 liters. Therefore, it is divided into as many as 8 compartments with transparent drawers. The control of the model is electronic, with an LCD display. The display shows the temperature indication. It is also convenient that the freezer with the help of an audible signal and an indicator on the screen will notify the owner of an open door or an elevated temperature. The only thing missing is the interior lighting.

The maximum cooling temperature reaches -32 degrees with the super-freezing function enabled. In the absence of electricity, the device maintains a sub-zero temperature for about 24 hours. Energy consumption class — A+.
