Introduced in 2021, the Apple TV set-top box is the direct successor to the 2017 solution — Apple TV 4K 64 Gb. The main changes in the updated version are associated with the appearance of a new remote control, more powerful “hardware”, including the Wi-Fi 6 module, and point changes that debuted in the most current version of the proprietary tvOS operating system. Among the latter, for example, we can highlight the function of calibrating the brightness and other parameters of the TV image using the iPhone.

The Apple TV 4K New 64 Gb media player received a new A12 Bionic processor, which does an excellent job of playing 4K HDR content and running various games available both on the App Store and on the Apple Arcade service. The new remote, as before, is equipped with a microphone for voice commands, but is also supplemented with a special touch control zone and a power key, which makes the process of interacting with the set-top box really more convenient. Separately, it is worth noting the support for Dolby Atmos audio decoders, even when using AirPods headphones, the ability to broadcast videos from Apple mobile devices (AirPlay) and the availability of a younger version, which has not 64, but 32 GB of internal memory.
