IMHO, this is one of the most energy efficient models. Stylish, looks great in the bathroom. The tank is made from a thick 2mm sheet of rolled steel. This gives it rigidity, strength and the ability to withstand water pressure - unlike most similar heaters, designed for a pressure of 6 atm., This boiler can work at 8 atm. In addition to the usual glass-ceramic coating, there is an additional protection of the tank with an oversized magnesium anode. With such an anode, prophylaxis should be done less frequently, it will work quietly for two to three years. Five-year warranty on tank and two-year warranty on all electrical and electronics. There is an official service. Usually Bosch appliances are more expensive than most competitors, but the price of this boiler was pleasantly pleased. A year later, during the operation of the heater, a small dull hissing sound appeared, apparently a noticeable layer of scale had already formed on the heating element. The boiler was chosen according to the volume and power of the heating elements. In this model, there are 2 kW of electric power per 75 liters of volume, and this is really a lot. Due to the high specific power (26.6 W/liter of volume), the water heats up very quickly. You can take a shower within twenty minutes after turning it on, and the water heats up to the maximum in a little more than two hours. For my wife and I, this volume is enough for both the shower and the kitchen. The tank is made of thick two-millimetric and high-quality sheet steel. It is reliably protected from corrosion by enamel and magnesium anode. Moreover, the anode of all Bosch models is not installed simple, but of an enlarged size and, accordingly, an extended service life. Excellent thermal insulation. When domestic manufacturers save on foam insulation and instead of the declared 20 mm thickness they make 12-15 at best, this Bosch model has an honest 32 mm polyurethane foam layer. Thanks to such an impressive polymer "fur coat", the boiler elegantly maintains the temperature of the water after it is turned off. Well, just less heat loss. The country in which the boiler is manufactured is Bulgaria. Still, assembly in the European Union is better than China. To adjust the thermostat, you have to remove the bottom cover. Not that this is often required or too troublesome, but still inconvenient. Its price, of course, stands out from the competition. But it cannot be said that it is unreasonably high - in fact, in almost all respects, this model is clearly better than any "inexpensive" water heater. |
