In the summer-autumn of last year, he completely updated the heating system and insulated the walls of the house. Gas is already very expensive and, apparently, it will continue to rise in price, so you need to use it carefully and with minimal losses. Replacing the windows with a solid seven-chamber profile with a two-chamber double-glazed window and insulating the walls with 10 cm polystyrene foam slabs also paid off. Compared to last year, typical gas consumption has almost halved! So both the boiler and the insulation will pay off quickly enough. A good double-circuit hinged boiler of medium power. The heated area in the house is approximately equal to 150 square meters, so its nominal 24 kW of thermal power is enough even in the most severe frosts. I must admit that I miscalculated a little with power, after warming it would be possible to take a simpler model. Although if you remember that it also heats the water, then everything is fine. In any case, it has a modern digital control system that can change the strength of the flame of a gas burner and thus regulate the power in the range from 8 to 24 kW. To control the boiler, I installed a room thermostat, it is somehow inconvenient to set the coolant temperature on the boiler control panel with my hands. The device gives a lot of heated water (up to 13 liters of warm and up to 7 really hot). The principle of a closed combustion chamber and turbofan smoke extraction made it possible to make a simple, cheap and short coaxial chimney, instead of a more bulky and expensive standard one. It has a high efficiency and is of good build quality (Turkish assembly). There is a traditional Bosch two-year company warranty. You can hear the operation of the circulation pump and the turbofan is also not silent. The advanced remote control module cannot be connected to this model. |
