In the Bosch corporate hierarchy, the WTM 85251 “automatic” dryer belongs to the middle class solutions (Serie 4 line), although there are also advanced features in its equipment. These include the practical drum lighting and the SelfCleaning Condenser.

Here, during drying, water obtained as a result of condensation is periodically (up to 4 times per cycle) supplied to the heat exchanger. It cleans the filter from fluff and other small contaminants. As a result, the appropriate maintenance does not need to be carried out by the user himself, and high energy efficiency (class A++) and drying quality are maintained throughout the entire life of the appliance.

Roomy and quiet assistant

Bosch WTM 85251 is made in the so-called anti-vibration design: on the sidewalls there are arcs and circles designed to reduce vibrations in operation. Many branded washing machines have a similar appearance, for example, Bosch WAN 28162, on which the dryer can be vertically installed using a special connecting kit.

With overall dimensions of 84x60x65 cm, the device received a fairly capacious 112-liter drum. It is permissible to place up to 8 kg of cotton items in it. The manufacturer claims that good spaciousness and an internal undulating relief contribute to a gentle effect and reduce wrinkling.

Variety of programs

To select one of the 15 available programs, the familiar rotary switch is offered. In addition to modes for different types of fabric, there are special cycles for sportswear, towels, blouses and shirts, and thin fabrics. There is also a quick 40-minute programme and drying modes with warm and cold air.
