I have been interested in rock climbing for a long time, and this hobby gradually grew into my work. Now I am an industrial climber and together with my team we carry out a variety of high-altitude work. This summer, for example, we worked on a three-hundred-meter pipe of one of the powerful thermal power plants. Of course, for my lifestyle and work, an ordinary watch is not suitable, so I bought this ultra-modern Casio sports model, which had everything I needed. These watches cannot be ignored; they have a bold and modern appearance. The dial is completely digital, liquid crystal, monochrome. It is reliably protected by durable and scratch-resistant mineral glass. And the glass itself is slightly recessed into the large body and protected by protruding parts of the plastic bezel. The entire body is made of plastic, except for the mounting screws and the back cover. These critical structural elements are made of stainless steel. The dimensions and material of the case reliably protect the mechanism from falls from any height and moderate impacts. In addition, there is reliable moisture protection. The housing is sealed even when completely immersed in water. True, you shouldn’t get carried away with diving and the depth limit for this model is somewhere around the ten-meter mark. For me, as a rock climber and industrial climber, the model is interesting because of its built-in altimeter, barometer, thermometer and increased frost resistance. The watch performs all these functions quite successfully. The controls are a bit tricky, but you quickly get used to it. If there is an altimeter, then they could also make a small depth gauge. But this would be a different market segment; divers probably have their own watches, which, of course, do not have an altimeter)) |
