Started up with half a kick at 3466 with 1700 ryzen on the B450 board. I think 3533 could also, but alas, there is no longer an opportunity to test it. With zen2 and zen3, getting this memory to 3600+ is not a question at all, the timings from the ryzen calculator become like cast ones. Review about the whale 2x8 3200, but I had the same ballistics on the same chips, only 2x16 (peer-to-peer!) With xmp 3600, everything was also about perfect there. Racing memory for sane money, what could be better? Yes, not the best in the world, but about the top. Now the price for it is inadequate, but when I took it, it cost about 2k UAH, while "similar" whales cost either the same or more, but they didn’t even stand next to this memory Affordable, overclocking danced (this is Micron E-Die, as it were), you can stylishly youth for this memory this item should not be Dmitriy Mitus: use Crucial BL2K8G32C16U4B more than year |

New Micron chips
Enthusiasts love Micron's products for their superior quality, which is largely due to the closed production cycle. If other brands bought memory from Micron and assembled their modules based on it, Micron did everything itself. But with the release of DDR4 memory, its position was shaken: zero technical advantages, dubious overclocking and all that. However, with the transition to a new revision of B-die memory chips, there is reason for optimism.
From 2666 MHz to 3200 MHz
How justified it is, the test of the Ballistix memory kit, which is produced by the Crucial subsidiary, will show. This set, which includes 2 sticks of 8 GB each, demonstrated excellent overclocking capabilities and versatility. On Intel motherboards, it starts up quite quickly (thanks to XMP profiles), on AMD, you will have to tinker a bit in search of the optimal combination of settings. In both cases, we managed to get a stable 3200 MHz against the standard 2666 MHz. The main thing is to make sure that the labeling of the strips ends with “6U4B”, otherwise you can run into a variant with old chips that are not particularly friendly with overclocking.
Three colour options for the radiator
We tested the trims with black heatsinks, but Crucial also offers modules in red and white. The heatsinks left a good impression, keeping the temperature in the normal range even with serious overclocking. It is equally important that the height of both brackets does not exceed 39 mm, which guarantees their compatibility with almost any, even the most massive processor cooling systems.
