Ergonomic and relatively light portable circular saw for straight cuts in hard materials. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, intended for active professional use. It has a standard transverse arrangement of a collector motor, which is capable of developing power up to 1200 watts. This drive spins the tool up to 5200 rpm and provides a decent level of cutting performance.
The torque and speed of rotation is quite enough for sawing wood of any kind, plywood, fiberboard and chipboard, sandwich panels, chipboard, laminate, thermoplastic polymers and aluminium alloys. Designed for discs with a diameter of 190 mm with a mounting hole of 30 mm. The Makita HS7601K Hand Held Circular Saw is equipped with a rigid die-cast aluminium soleplate, thanks to which the total weight of the tool is only 4 kg.
Such a mass does not overload the operator's hands, preserving his strength for long-term fruitful work. The motor is reliably protected from dust and equipped with a durable support bearing. The maximum depth of cut is 66 mm for normal cutting. When working at an angle of 45°, the depth is reduced to 46 mm. The saw is equipped with a high-quality 2.5-metre double-insulated electric cable. Complete with saw blade 190x30 12T (12 teeth), rip fence, attachment for connecting a vacuum cleaner and branded case.

My passion for carpentry, which grew into semi-professional furniture making, began a long time ago. My grandfather was a carpenter. So now this is my second profession and at the same time a hobby. I bought this saw primarily for cutting chipboard. It's a hell of a pleasure to pick up a really good instrument. You immediately feel the class, this is not just another Chinese no-name, this is a first-tier manufacturer. The saw is light, only 4 kilograms, but it has enough power. Cutting even a thick chipboard has little effect on the rotation speed, the sound, of course, becomes lower, but the cutting speed does not drop. Everything is done in it so that it is comfortable and convenient to work. It is well balanced, in those places where hands hold it there are obligatory rubberized pads. All controls and adjustments are convenient and what is called the case. The power cord is not very long, only 2 meters, but very elastic and flexible. This happens only on branded equipment. The high-quality molded sole inspires respect, a lot depends on it and it does not fail. A complete 12-tooth disc is only suitable for rough cutting, of course, I tested it on chipboard scraps. But the results are disappointing, the reverse side is clean, but the front side with numerous chips. I bought a disc for 54 teeth and the thing, as they say, went. But still, for the complete absence of chips, you need to cut only in two passes. So for finer work, you need to immediately look after yourself something multi-toothed and, if possible, carbide. |
