Model overview based on user reviews
The Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season tires are highly regarded for their universal properties and stable performance across various conditions. Users appreciate their excellent grip and predictable handling, making them suitable for both city and highway driving. They are noted for being quiet and comfortable, with a durable sidewall that withstands impacts. While they perform well on asphalt and light off-road conditions, they are not recommended for deep mud or extreme winter conditions, despite the "All Season" label. Some users have reported issues with workmanship and warranty, including tire defects and wear. Overall, they are praised for their good road holding and adequate braking, making them a reliable choice for those seeking a versatile tire for moderate climates.

Installed on Tiguan. I like it. Haven't driven in the mud yet (and don't plan to), but it's quite comfortable and predictable on asphalt and dirt roads. Not hard, not too soft, but "springy". Durable sidewall, developed tread pattern, reasonable price, adequate behavior on the road, quite comfortable, not noisy. Not detected yet. ![]() |
I will immediately write about what I mentioned in the disadvantages: it's not so much a drawback as it is a feature. I don't wade through knee-deep mud myself, but I had to push a friend out during a fishing trip because he imagined he was in an all-terrain vehicle. In principle, I can make it to the same fishing spot on relatively poor dirt roads, knowing how to drive on such terrain. Even in spring and autumn. On dry ground - absolutely no issues. But trips on dirt roads make up a maximum of 10% of my mileage. The rest of the time, it's asphalt. And on asphalt, these tires perform just perfectly. They handle, drive, brake - everything is ideal. There's no instability in ruts. They're not afraid of water. Steering, braking, traction - all perfect on asphalt. Quite comfortable, even on the Patriotic. Off-road - consider your abilities and driving skills, the tires are not off-road but highway. ![]() |
The tires came as the factory set when purchasing the car. I bought the car at the end of last autumn. Almost immediately (in December), I switched to winter studded tires. I don't fully believe in the "all-season" capabilities of tires; there should be a certain temperature limit where the tires perform well. For these tires, I can assess them as: they work great from about minus 5 to plus 35 degrees. Depending on the region, you can safely drive on them from March to November. They handle any weather conditions excellently! They are not afraid of wet roads. Even on muddy slippery asphalt, they hold confidently. They also perform well on dirt roads, but with a caveat regarding road complexity. For deep mud, A/T class tires are better suited. But if you're not overly adventurous, with this Scorpion, you can confidently leave the asphalt if you have a basic understanding of how to drive on dirt. On asphalt, they are beyond any praise. They are soft, quiet, and perform excellently at high speeds. Suitable for riding in different conditions and in different weather. Not suitable for winter, despite the All Season indication. I don't believe in "all season" from plus 35 to minus 35 myself, so I don't recommend using it in winter. ![]() |
