I wanted to buy a reliable split-system that not only cools and heats the air but also effectively filters and refreshes it. My wife is allergic, so the air purification aspect was a significant concern. Of course, top models from Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin handle this task best, but their price was too high for me. I had to compromise between price and functionality, and as a result, I became the owner of this air conditioner. For better air purification, I had to purchase an additional photocatalytic filter. However, the total cost remained quite reasonable, and I got what I wanted. The ionizer, together with the additional filter purchased, really does a good job of cleaning the air. My wife noticed the difference from the first days, and even I noticed that breathing is easier. It handles the conditioning tasks effortlessly. In the living room where it's installed, it cools the room completely in just about twenty minutes. In a standard Soviet nine-story building, the rooms are small, and if you keep the room doors open, the cold spreads throughout the entire two-room apartment. It doesn't heat as powerfully, but it's sufficient for one room. An important aspect is the adaptation of this split system for our electrical networks. Indeed, the voltage in our outlets sometimes fluctuates from 160 to 250 volts, and delicate imported electronics might simply not withstand this. The remote control is convenient and compact. Clearly audible even in night mode. So much so that for several days my wife and I had trouble falling asleep, getting used to its quiet but persistent hum. The outdoor unit is also relatively loud. Fortunately, the neighbors also have air conditioners installed, so its noise does not bother them. |
