good model, I liked it
28 March 2015
A small-sized hood, with a stylish and beautiful design, featuring a pull-out front section. There are three operating speeds, and the switches are conveniently located within reach of one hand. Quite an economical model, the purchase of the hood hasn't significantly affected the electricity bill. There is lighting, providing a soft pleasant light, and in the evening, you might not even need to turn on the main light as the hood lighting provides evening illumination. There is some noise, as with all hoods, but if you don't constantly use the maximum speed, it doesn't really bother. Washing it isn't too difficult either, I simply use a sponge with cleaning detergent, and everything cleans up easily. It's a good model, considering the price was below average, at least when we bought it, it's possible to rate it highly, as we haven't encountered any issues with it, and it functions as it should.

great model, love it
22 March 2015
Ventolux is probably one of the most controversial brands among range hoods, judging by reviews. The idea is that they're assembled in different factories, so the quality might vary. I liked it, so I decided to go for it. I just checked it thoroughly upon receiving it to avoid any negative surprises. Overall, the range hood is great. It's budget-friendly but looks cool. It has an excellent minimalist appearance, is neatly assembled without any flaws, has reliable and quality guides, and the fan seems Italian, though I'm not completely sure. The lights are normal, they shine brightly, illuminating the stovetop and a significant part of the countertop. The fan mode and light switches are hidden under the sliding panel, which I didn't find right away, but I liked the idea. And it turns on/off when you slide the panel. It's quite interesting and unusual. You set the modes once, and when you slide the panel, it turns on. Or you can keep it extended and use the switches as needed. Regarding noise, I have to say nothing like what people claim about it being very loud. In the minimum mode, it works quietly and has satisfactory suction. But, of course, I won't argue, in turbo mode it is very loud, but it also has strong suction power. It does have considerable air displacement performance. And I didn't even try to find faults with it, because for this price, it's just very good!
Everything is great
If globally, there are no drawbacks as such.

Inexpensive Turkish-assembled hood for small kitchens
29 September 2016
I have a very small kitchen with an area of only 5 square meters, respectively, and the kitchen set also turned out to be very compact. For obvious reasons, I initially decided to take a telescopic hood. But for a long time I could not decide on the model. As a result, I took this Ventolux model and the Turkish assembly was the decisive factor. Absolutely most of the hoods are assembled in China, but I really wanted to buy something European, even if Turkey is in Europe with only one foot so far.
The assembly is of high quality, everything is adjusted and fixed, as it should be, there are no cracks or incomprehensible backlashes from the word at all. Not least thanks to the quality assembly and it looks nice too. True, after installation, only a small part of it is visible, but still. It copes with the task of extracting hot air and odors completely. Usually we use the first or second speed. The maximum third was turned on only a few times, and then in the case when jam was cooked in a large basin and when the sunflower oil in the pan smoked from overheating. The speeds are switched mechanically, using toggle switches under the right side of the railing.
Noise decently. Maybe, of course, I find fault, but for a comfortable stay in the kitchen with the hood running, the noise level should be more modest. One of the incandescent bulbs in the lighting system burned out in just a week. In my opinion, it is high time to abandon such unreliable and outdated light sources as incandescent lamps and switch to LEDs, which are much more economical and durable.
