Interference
— the interference filter glass consists of many thin layers of dissimilar materials, precisely matched in thickness and refractive index. Due to this, such a filter enhances a certain part of the spectrum and effectively reflects the rest of the light. According to the specifics of application, interference models are most often classified as protective ones — they cut off both ultraviolet and infrared radiation, leaving only the main working part of the spectrum for the camera.
