Electric starter

An electric starter is a small battery-powered electric motor; thanks to such a system, you can literally start the unit at the touch of a button — it is much easier and more convenient than turning the main engine shaft manually. On the other hand, the starter significantly affects the price, weight and dimensions of the unit. Therefore, it is mainly used in professional high-power equipment, where starting the engine manually requires considerable effort.
