Because of this, internal combustion engines are installed mainly in professional shredder models, for which high power is a determining factor. Gasoline engines, on the other hand, are somewhat inferior in torque to diesel ones, and fuel for them is more expensive; on the other hand, they are cheaper in themselves and easier to maintain, and the difference in traction is usually not critical.
