— the original Rubik's Cube is a classic cube-shaped puzzle, each side of which consists of 9 separate squares. In the initial position, squares of the same colour are located on each face of the cube. By turning the faces in a special way, you can "scatter" the squares on different sides; then you need to bring the cube to its original form in the same way.

In addition to this traditional design, there are other types of Rubik's Cube on the market today. For example, there are simplified options, with face sizes of 2x2 (and not 3x3), and vice versa, complicated ones, 4x4 and even 5x5. There are bricks in shades of grey, with iridescent edges, made of transparent materials, etc. And some toys from this category are not bricks at all. As an example, we can name puzzles with a similar principle, but in the form of a pyramid (tetrahedron), as well as Rubik's snake — toys in the form of a set of triangular prisms connected in series with swivel mounts and allowing you to build different shapes.

Anyway, Rubik's cubes develop mainly logical and spatial thinking, as well as colour perception.
