Portable generators TSS

1. The letter designation first describes the fuel type of the generator:

  • SGG, GG — gasoline generator (from the English Gasoline Generator);
  • SDG, DG — diesel generator (from the English Diesel Generator).

2. Next, the numbers, they indicate the rated power of the generator in watts.

3. And then the letters again, they mean the following: E — the presence of an electric starter and battery, there is no letter "E" — only manual start, without battery.

4. H — there is a set of wheels, there is no designation — without wheels.

5. Digit 3 — indicates a three-phase output voltage (400 V), if there is no designation, then the voltage is single-phase (230 V).

6. L — Loncin engine is installed, N — low-cost series.

7. A — there is a slot on the control panel for connecting the autorun unit.

8. U — there is a 400 V /230 V operating mode switch, which allows you to remove the full (identical) power from the power plant in any of the modes.

9. S — indicates the presence of a noise-proof casing.

10. i — inverter generator.

Welding generators TSS

Now consider the names of welding generators.

1. Letter designation at the beginning:

  • GGW — gasoline welding generator generator;
  • DGW — diesel welding generator generator.
  • *the letter W stands for — welding (from the English Welding — welding)

2-3. The category of welding generators has a slightly different numerical designation — a digit / digit, where the first digit is the maximum generator power in kW, and the second digit indicates the maximum welding current: 200 is 190 A, 250 is 230 A and 300 is 300 A.

4-7. The letters at the end indicate the following:

  • E — availability of electric starter and battery;
  • D — inverter generator ;
  • S — indicates the presence of a noise-proof casing;
  • R — the presence of a connector for the welding current remote control, from the English Remote — "remote";
  • the number 3 indicates a three—phase output voltage (400 V), if there is no designation, then the voltage is single-phase (230 V).

Stationary generators TSS

Well, stationary models of generators, although they are more expensive, there are few of them on the market and the name is less readable, but we will also tell you how to decipher:

1. AD — diesel unit.

2. Numbers — rated power in kW.

3. Variant of execution:C — stationary, L — skis, no letter — chassis.

4-5. T 400 — three—phase output voltage (400 V), 230 — single-phase output voltage (230 V).

6. The number 1, 2 or 3 is the degree of automation.

7. P — radiator cooling (liquid), no letter — air cooling.

8. Variant of execution:K — noise-proof casing,P — weatherproof casing, H — container.

9. MXX — modification of the diesel generator set model.
