The monitor is offered for a wide range of tasks, including professional use in computer-aided design systems, photo and video processing, and business applications. The highest resolution of 3840x2160 on a large screen with a physical diagonal size of 801 mm provides high pixel density (139 ppi or 54 pixels/cm) and high detail.
The main distinguishing feature of the screen of this model is its improved colour gamut. Through the use of a full 10-bit MVA matrix, the monitor can fully work with 30-bit colour gamut and display more than a billion colours and subtle colour shades, which is 64 times more than conventional models with 8-bit matrices. Thus, the AOC U3277PWQU monitor demonstrates 100% coverage of the sRGB colour space.
The matrix has LED Flicker-Free-backlighting and shows high maximum brightness up to 350 cd/m2, improved nominal static contrast ratio of 3000:1 and comfortable viewing angles of 178 degrees. The monitor is equipped with a comfortable, ergonomic and functional Pivot function, full-range speakers and a 4-port USB hub with the ability to quickly charge mobile devices. To connect a video signal source, there are all types of modern interface ports: VGA (does not support full-fledged Ultra HD video signal transmission), DVI-D Dual Link, Display Port 1.2, HDMI 2.0 (with MHL support).

AOC monitors are known for their attractive price and features. The AOC U3277PWQU is a 32-inch panel that delivers true-to-life 4K resolution at just under $600.
Tough as a tank
The AOC U3277PWQU looks as old and ugly as possible: with normal two-centimeter frames and a protruding border — such a monitor can be put on the table with the screen down, and nothing will happen to it. This coin has two sides. On the one hand, an unlimited margin of safety, on the other hand, an outdated “square” design with thick side frames. Especially, this difference is striking if you put next to a newer model like AOC AGON AG273QCX, which has no frames at all. But a large and heavy stand allows you to rotate the monitor as you like: change the angle of inclination, adjust the height or rotate the display left and right, turning it into portrait mode. Alternatively, there is a VESA compatible mount.

As a bonus, there is a simple audio system consisting of a pair of 31.5 watt speakers. Given the excellent graphical capabilities and stripped-down gaming functionality (refresh rate is only 60 Hz, there is no FreeSync), this model should first of all appeal to designers, not gamers.
