This inverter is useful both on long car trips and at home during temporary power outages. It efficiently converts 12V DC to 230V AC with a pure sine wave waveform to reliably power sensitive electronics such as boiler control equipment. Connected directly to the car battery using alligator cables, it can handle loads of up to 500 watts. If you connect the inverter through the cigarette lighter socket, it will provide power up to 150 W.
