Saw with a balanced set of characteristics
Saw Bort BRS-18Li-FD is not among the leaders in any of the characteristics, and certainly it cannot be called a professional tool. Like other models of Bort power tools, this saw belongs to the middle price segment and has a moderately balanced set of features. Although the saw lacks stars from the sky, its quality does not cause any particular complaints: the design is by no means flimsy, the assembly is good, there is enough power for working in the garden or on a personal plot, and the vibration and noise levels do not make you wince in discomfort.
Advantages and disadvantages
The relatively short length (compared to traditional chain models of the same power class) makes it possible to get close to the sawn branch or board from any side. The design of the sole allows you to adjust its outsole (unfortunately, you need to use a hex wrench to change the outsole, although many other manufacturers implement this option using a lever).
Of the shortcomings, a small web stroke (16 mm) should be noted. That is, even at full speed, the sawing process is slower than we would like (although for most household tasks, such as trimming branches in the garden or performing minor repairs in the country, the performance is quite enough). But the sawing speed can be increased if you buy good saw blades (the two files that come with the tool are not of the highest quality). Users also note that the not very comfortable shape of the handle, despite the presence of rubber pads, does not contribute to long-term work.
Two batteries — is it a lot or a little?
