In short, since this case is still for sale, I will update my last review. Bought in 2019. I'll start with dust protection - it is not. The maximum that you can do is a magnetic grid that is attached from above - magnetize it to the wall behind the three coolers. As for the backlight - this is generally an unnecessary topic, as I already understood, just superfluous. Moreover, they cannot be turned off (For example, I "turned off these LEDs mechanically :)") The front of the computer glows like a spotlight, and when you need to watch a movie, for example ... in general, imagine for yourself. The reset button at the block fell off in the first month, they glued it to "get off". All of it is noisy and sloppy some. But the most "juice" in the coolers. After 2 years of use, once again turning on the computer and moving away from it, I heard an incredibly loud noise like a truck engine. Returning to the computer, I realized that it was the cooler, which for some reason stopped spinning at full speed, and began to make this wild noise. I still didn’t understand for sure what the problem was, perhaps that the constructors are ***, or perhaps that it was “clogged”, but I solved this problem with noise - simply by stopping the cooler. Also, this problem was solved by itself after an hour of work, but not everyone can afford to sit for an hour with such noise. In any case, the average user cannot get to these coolers, because for the screws on which these coolers sit, you need a very special screwdriver, which I'm sure only Chinese assemblers who give us such miracles have. zero Noise.

Good, ventilated body, quiet turntables included
I took it for myself, because I liked the price and the presence of 4 turntables .... The presence of pre-installed turntables, a separate casing for the PSU and HDD, the ability to quickly disassemble and remove components, cable management, the ability to install large tower coolers, there is room for larger graphics cards, a lot of space for installing LSS Plastic side and front cover (charged with static and attracts dust and hair, especially if there are animals), the presence of a mount for outdated drives (which you can’t put if you don’t remove the front cover, it’s not needed there at all, I removed it altogether) Venttank: use Gamemax StarLight Light-B less than month |
the body is frankly ha#but the coolers are noisy, I am the pelesos the wiring is frankly not giving in singing that it is not closed, the installation of hot disks (requires the hands of the designer) thin metal for such pennies you can take a much better case without coolers and for retail take normal quiet coolers looking at 6 out of 10 cable management, flimsy case, not easily installed hard disks, price, noise, plastic door on the yak Діма: use Gamemax StarLight Light-B more than year |
Starship Milano
The StarLight case from Gamemax is designed to attract attention. Its front transparent wall opens up a view of 3 massive illuminated coolers, which, when turned on, resemble either a starship engine or the eyes of a hypnotoad from the Futurama animated series. If you are looking for a catchy flashy design, then finding something more provocative for the money will be extremely difficult.
When to Get Attention
StarLight is made of 0.5 mm metal, standard for this class. One of the walls is glass, which opens up a view of the inside of the PC. On the front part, a place of honor was taken by large and quiet backlit fans, which set the tone for the entire appearance of the case. The backlight, though not RGB, but looks impressive. It's only inconvenient that it doesn't turn off. On the top cover there is a navigation panel, which, in addition to the standard power buttons, USB ports and headphone outputs, is equipped with a cooler rotation speed control. Most of the top panel is occupied by a large grill with a dust filter to remove excess heat from the case.
Layout of elements
The case belongs to the universal Midi Tower form factor, which allows the installation of ATX, Micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. Inside, all ventilation units are protected by dust filters. The maximum height of the processor is 170mm. The maximum length of the graphics card is at the level of 360 mm. That is, virtually any popular model will fit. There are 4 standard drive bays and the ability to install water cooling. The power supply is installed from below. In general, the internal structure is quite ordinary, but well thought out, assembling a computer here is as easy as shelling pears. A slight inconvenience is caused only by the proximity of the power supply compartment and one of the HDD pockets. First you need to fasten the hard drive, and only then put the power supply, otherwise you won’t get close to the first one.
