Oil heaters do not occupy the most significant positions in a wide range of home appliances from the Slovenian brand Gorenje. However, with the onset of cold weather, a lot of consumers who are looking for an effective and functional solution in a beautiful “wrapper” are paying close attention to them.

Maximum equipment

From the crowd of peers, the model highlights the presence of a small screen. It serves to set a 24-hour timer, select the desired level of maintained temperature (in the range from 5 to 35 °C) and switch between heating modes. In addition to working in the standard mode (1000/1300/2300 W), the electronic "brain" of the heater has programs for energy saving (maintaining a room temperature of about 22 °C) and frost protection (prevents freezing of walls in an unheated room, preventing thermometer to fall below 5°C).

Remote control

In order not to get up once again from a familiar place, all functions of the oil cooler can be controlled from the remote control. It is included in the package of the heater, and swivel casters are also placed in the box with the device for the convenience of moving it across the floor. They will need to be installed independently at the stage of preparing the heater for the first start.

Quality symbol

Swivel wheels and a compartment for winding the power cord have long been indispensable attributes of oil coolers. Both of these elements, as well as the rest of the design of the Gorenje OR 2300 PEM, are distinguished by high-quality assembly and high reliability. The only “but” is the overpriced model, which is fully justified by the extended functionality.
