New smartwatch from Xiaomi
Let's be honest, most of us don't need an expensive Apple Watch. But I would like to buy a smartwatch. The ones that are cheap but work the way they should. It is for such buyers that a new copy of the Apple Watch, Haylou LS01, is designed. Unlike many Chinese smartwatches for three kopecks, this watch came out under the flags of Xiaomi Corporation, works stably, holds a charge for up to two weeks and costs some $40.

The novelty weighs only 34 g and comes with a silicone strap 22 mm wide. The watch is quite small, so it sits well on the hand. The 1.3-inch TFT touch screen has a standard resolution of 240x240 pixels. The colour reproduction and brightness margin of the display are above average, but on a really sunny day legibility is doubtful: large objects can be seen well, but you have to read the letters. By the standards of its class, the display is excellent. But the choice of dials in the proprietary application turned out to be meager, at the time of the test there were 5-6 pcs available, and of them only a couple of really nice ones. The built-in 210 mAh battery is enough for 14 days of battery life. The watch case is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard.
Work stability
The novelty has a heart rate sensor, a sleep tracker and a sports application with 9 training modes: walking, running, hiking, cycling, treadmill, fitness, climbing, spinning, yoga. The applications are simple and not overloaded, plus there are a lot of them. For comparison, the slightly more expensive Amazfit Bip Lite has only 4 sports modes. Localization in the Haylou App is somewhat crooked, but, in fairness, shoals with fonts and translation are not so common as to start to get nervous. Summing up, I would like to note that any smartwatch for $ 40 will be far behind expensive and high-quality models in literally everything. You have to choose not the best, but the best of the worst. Therefore, the most important parameter when choosing will not be the number of built-in applications or the design of dials, but banal reliability and conscientiousness. And with this, Xiaomi Haylou LS01 is in perfect order.
