Pretty good Perc: Ryzen 5 2600 I took 2666, managed to raise it to 3200 with timings 17-19-19-19-36, haven’t tried the secondary ones yet. It seems to work stably. 3400 is already taking with a creep, and the timings are getting very high |
Gamer memory
HyperX Fury is the junior series of gaming RAM from Kingston. The epithet "gaming" should not be taken literally: this memory will not increase FPS in games compared to non-gaming ones, it only has a higher overclocking potential and a spectacular appearance.
old and new
The HyperX Fury series includes both the old DDR3 standard and the new DDR4 RAM. The first can be useful for upgrading existing PCs, while the second is for building from scratch. Optimal for new PCs, in our opinion, is DDR4-2400 MHz. For Intel Kaby Lake processors without an unlocked multiplier, this is the maximum. And for AMD Ryzen chips, 2400 MHz memory can be overclocked to 2666 or even higher with your own hands.
