The representative of the G-Master gaming line has a very characteristic appearance for the monitors of the Japanese company Iiyama. The distinctive features include the presence of thin bezels around the 27-inch screen and a wide range of customization options for its location.
The Iiyama G-Master GB2760HSU-B1 stable stand is very functional. It allows you to tilt the display, rotate it both in the horizontal plane (45 degrees left and right) and vertically, that is, change the landscape orientation to portrait. The stand also provides height adjustment in the range of 13 cm and a special opening for organizing wires.
Bright and smooth picture
The monitor is based on a 27-inch TN-matrix with a claimed response time of 1 ms (GtG) and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The obligatory "gaming kit" of the model is complemented by support for FreeSync technology, which will provide additional synchronization of the video sequence on compatible graphics adapters. Of the proprietary options, it is worth highlighting the Black Tuner function, which can improve the visibility of darkened game scenes.
Despite the viewing angles characteristic of a TN matrix, the image is distinguished by uniform colour reproduction (99% sRGB and 72% NTSC coverage) and flicker-free backlighting. The screen is not afraid of glare and bright light thanks to its matte surface and a serious margin of brightness at 400 cd/m2. Such a high rate is rarely found in low-cost models.
Additional equipment
In addition to interfaces for video signal transmission (HDMI and DisplayPort) and a mini-Jack input (3.5 mm), the model is equipped with a USB hub with two version 2.0 ports, which will simplify the connection of various peripherals. There is also a pair of built-in speakers with a power of 2 watts each.
The disadvantages of the Iiyama G-Master GB2760HSU-B1 include a large pixel size (0.31 mm): a certain graininess of the picture is noticeable when surfing the net, reading and working with texts. Otherwise, the monitor captivates not only with its gaming functionality, but also with useful additions, and for all this they ask for quite reasonable money.
