Powerful 8-core desktop processors from the 10th Gen Intel Core CPU family based on the Comet Lake core (14nm). Compatible with motherboards equipped with LGA 1200 processor socket and Intel 400 series chipsets. Unlike previous 9th generation top-end consumer CPUs, these processors have improved internal design (reduced silicon die thickness from 800 microns to 500 microns to facilitate heat dissipation) and uses more advanced Turbo Boost Max 3.0 power management technology.
This allowed a significant increase in clock speeds, which had the most positive effect on the performance of Intel Core i7 Comet Lake processors, which can be used as part of entry-level workstations, high-performance gaming PCs and multi-purpose systems for processing digital content. Core i7 K-series processors with an unlocked multiplier can become the basis of overclocking configurations aimed at enthusiasts. Intel's proprietary Hyper-Threading technology allows each of the cores to simultaneously execute two computation threads (up to 16 threads in total), which provides an additional performance boost, both in resource-intensive professional tasks and in demanding games.

At first it seemed too hot on a two-section CBO, but in manual mode 5Ghz @ 1.225v, the temperature in idle is 28-40 °, in games it does not exceed 60 °, and when rendering it heats up to 80 with peaks up to 84). If you are going to take 5.1-5.3Ghz at ~ 1.35v on it, take a good three-section one for cooling (ala kraken x73) Excellent stability and performance at 9900k (more than 5k parrots in Cinebench R20) Fiery and burning :) |
I bought 10700 in a 4.8 GHz turbo boost, it’s almost 5 like K, but only it doesn’t get warm from the word at all, I put it under my own in overclocking, I don’t see the point, the video 3070 reveals 100%, it doesn’t load itself in the top games and up to half, and under its temperature 40 degrees max that I saw in the same exodus. So don't get fooled by those "K's" Cold and productive for your own, ideal choice for home needs Price, but this is already a stone above the average category use Intel i7-10700 BOX few months |
