The versatile robot vacuum cleaner is designed for wet and dry cleaning, especially in large houses with several floors. The fact is that he can not only draw up a map of the room, but also remember several plans of the room at the same time: for example, when cleaning the second floor, the map of the first one is not deleted. Another feature of the model is the self-cleaning function, which allows you to apply a minimum of effort for the full operation of the device.
The dust container has a volume of 0.2 L, so it fills up quickly enough, but you do not need to empty it manually: the vacuum cleaner returns to the station, where the garbage from the container is pumped into a large disposable 3-liter bag. On average, its volume is enough for a month of use, after which the indicator will inform you about the need for replacement. Xiaomi Lydsto R1 has a suction power of 2700 Pa, so it easily collects small and larger debris from both flat surfaces and carpets.
And for wet cleaning, a microfibre cloth is used, which is wetted with water from a tank with a volume of 0.25 L, and you can choose one of several modes of wetting intensity. In addition, the robot is able to overcome thresholds up to 20 mm high, sweeps debris along the walls with the help of a side brush, thanks to sensors and a laser rangefinder it avoids obstacles and does not fall down stairs, and can also work autonomously for up to 150 minutes on a single charge of a 5.2 Ah battery, which is enough to clean an area of up to 200 square metres. The control is carried out using the buttons on the case or through an application on a smartphone, where you can set virtual boundaries and restricted areas, select modes, schedule cleaning for the week ahead, set the route and trajectory of movement, and check the degree of wear of accessories.

The main cleaning module, powered by a Quanzhi MR112 dual-core processor, is not much different from traditional robot vacuum cleaners. The device received a disk case with a diameter of 350 mm and a height of 100 mm, taking into account the lidar protruding in the centre. Immediately after switching on, the vacuum cleaner uses a laser rangefinder to create an accurate map of the room in which cleaning is to be done. On board the device there is a side brush for passing along the walls, a high-speed turbo brush and microfibre for wet cleaning. The built-in pump supplies water to the mop from a 250 mL reservoir. Wet cleaning has 3 levels of intensity, but in fact cannot replace a full-fledged mopping. Unfortunately, the function of wiping spilled moisture works even on a dry floor: it can only be canceled by removing the fibre pad. The device is equipped with a pair of driving wheels with "lugs" and a guide roller that rotates 360°. The undercarriage makes it easy to move around the cleaning area and overcome thresholds up to 20 mm high, and the built-in sensor helps to accurately avoid obstacles. The vacuum cleaner works relatively quietly, not exceeding the noise level of 65 dB.
Local cleaning mode
The robot is controlled using the buttons on the body or from a smartphone via the Internet via Wi-Fi. The manufacturer offers to download the branded Lydsto application, available for users of mobile devices on Android and iOS. In addition to the fact that control from a smartphone is much more convenient, it allows you to implement a number of additional features. Among them is convenient control of the status of work and wear of brushes, programming of the route of movement, setting up local (spot) cleaning, as well as scheduling house cleaning for several days. Accurately confirming the manufacturer's claimed cleanliness rating of 98% is difficult, but the level of removal of dust, traditional debris and sand from hard floors and carpets is really impressive. The battery capacity of 5200 mAh is enough for about 150 minutes of continuous operation, which is enough to serve the premises of 200 m2. The charging station fully restores the battery in 300 minutes. The model is presented in 2 colours: black (HD-STYTJ-B03) and white (HD-STYTJ-W03).
