The Nokia Streaming Box 8000 media player provides video playback with UltraHD 4K resolution and frame rates up to 60 fps. And with no less high-quality playback of audio tracks, support for modern Dolby Digital Plus codecs is designed to help. The “hardware” is quite standard: a 4-core Amlogic S905X3 processor is complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. For Internet access, a 100 Mbps LAN port and a Wi-Fi 4 module are offered. In addition, there is Bluetooth (for connecting a keyboard or game controller), as well as several USBs, including USB-C. The package includes a fairly large remote control with an abundance of keys and the presence of quick launch buttons for popular services — Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video.
