The electric toothbrush of the Swiss brand Polaris belongs to the middle price category and, although it lacks “smart” functions, it has everything you need for an effective and comfortable daily ritual. Perhaps one of the main advantages is the equipment. It includes a convenient travel case for storage and travel, and a total of three nozzles. However the charger does not fit into the case, although they are usually not designed for this, and the nozzles are devoid of any identification marks. If you need them to change, there will be no problems, but if you plan to use the brush with the whole family, you will have to somehow mark which nozzle belongs to whom. Sets of nozzles in other colours are also available, but they must be purchased separately. Since there is no wear indicator here, you will have to control this yourself. The blue bristles of the nozzle will come to the rescue, which lose their colour as they wear.

In addition, there is an IPX7 waterproof case (that is, it will definitely withstand splashes and short-term immersions) and a small charging stand that powers a 600 mAh battery. And this is another advantage, since a single charge will last up to 60 days of use in Sensitive mode at a minimum intensity. Unfortunately, you should not count on fast charging — the battery is charged up to 12 hours.

But still, the main task of a toothbrush is a thorough cleaning of the oral cavity, and the model handles well with this. It has in its arsenal as many as five modes: Clean for intensive professional cleaning (at a speed of 41K vibrations per minute), White for whitening (48K pulsations / min), Sensitive for gentle, delicate cleaning (33K pulsations / min), Polish for polishing the front teeth (33,000 pulses/min) and Gum Care for gum care (31,000 pulses/min). Also, the brush will monitor the duration of the procedure: every 30 seconds, the work pauses so that you move to the next zone, and after 2-3 minutes (depending on the mode), the brush turns off — this time is enough for hygiene.

At the same time, the control is quite simple and clear: the modes are displayed using symbols and inscriptions in English, and there is only one physical button on the case, which is responsible for turning on / off and switching modes. There is also a battery level indicator that will tell you when you need to use the outlet and charging station.
