You can take it if you need to download it for torrents. CPU is very weak
  
I took it to download torrents and store in 4K. Next watch on TV. The server copes with the first part very well. Worse with the second part. Movies with a high bitrate are played over the network with friezes. From a laptop (top-end Asus with Intel 12700, Wi-Fi 6), from a TV set Ski 55 4K and from an Amazon stick 4K.
I'll try adding a buffer SSD for big movies.
Size, power consumption, two network ports, many USB connectors, two 3.0
Software from the manufacturer ... Without the mat, it is impossible to describe the interaction with the programs and the NASA software interface. Mobile apps also deserve a cesspool rating.
Everything is very crooked, oblique, not obvious, scattered across different parts of the interface, and so on.

Masquerading as a small uninterruptible power supply, QNAP TS-253D-4G is something much more. This is a user data storage, an advanced media centre and a video surveillance command and control centre in one compact package.

Extended capabilities

The NAS server can accommodate 2.5 and 3.5-inch drives with a total capacity of up to 32 TB. The device supports JBOD, RAID 0 and RAID 1 arrays. The PCI-E slot brings storage capabilities to a new qualitative level. Expansion boards are connected to it, through which, in turn, additional SSDs or wireless adapters are introduced into the device to deploy a local network “over the air”.

Productivity platform

The focus of the QNAP TS-253D-4G hardware is a 2GHz Intel Celeron J4125 processor, 4GB of DDR4 RAM (expandable to 8GB) and 4GB of flash storage. Performant components act as a guarantor of the fast responsiveness of the device and easily operate with large data arrays. The key to increased throughput of information exchange is two 2.5 Gbps LAN ports on the onboard armament of the NAS server.
