The German company SATA is the undisputed world leader in the production of spray guns. The jet 100 BF RP is the perfect example of a modern professional spray gun in every way.
Flawless Build
The body of the model is made of anodized aluminium, which ensures its durability and beautiful appearance throughout the entire period of operation. In addition, the anodized coating is quickly and conveniently washed off the paint. The air flow nozzles are made of brass, while the paint needle and nozzle are made of stainless steel. The pistol weighs only 450 grams (without reservoir), has a shortened design and a perfectly balanced centre of gravity. Working for them is a pleasure. Included are: universal wrench, brush, needle and paint filter. The 600 mL plastic reservoir has a quick-change threaded mount. But the swivel connector to increase the convenience of work must be ordered separately, although for such a price it could be included in the basic package.
High performance
The Jet 100 BF RP uses RP technology (reduced pressure). This is a cross between LVLP and HVLP. Fast work is ensured thanks to a wide torch and a large amount of flowing material. At the same time, the technology provides a percentage of solids higher than that of HVLP models, at a pressure of not more than 2 bar and an air flow of 290 L/min. With this performance, the gun is simply perfect for applying a preparatory primer layer: it will lay it quickly and evenly.
To choose from, the model is equipped with nozzles with a diameter of 1.3 to 2 mm. It is very convenient and expands the possibilities of painting. By the way, after-sales support from SATA is at the highest level, and almost any spare part can be ordered and replaced, which increases the life of the gun.
Traditionally for all professional airbrushes, Jet 100 BF RP has adjustments: torch (in width and diameter), amount of material and pressure level.
There can be no claims to German quality and scrupulousness, another thing is the price. On the Jet 100 BF RP, it's quite high, but it's SATA, and that's it.
