I bought a house to survive the period before turning on the central heating. This is not the most powerful convector, but in autumn it is enough heat for one room of 16 square meters. In addition, I'm afraid not to pull a more powerful model financially. Electricity has risen in price once again and this kind of heating becomes quite expensive. In addition, it is not covered by the subsidy, which applies only to 100 social kilowatts. And as experience has shown, such a convector easily burns 6-10 kWh of electricity per day, even when operating in an economical mode. The half-power mode is called economical, that is, the convector does not consume a whole kilowatt, but only 500 watts, and, accordingly, heats up twice as bad. Despite the relatively low price, it is equipped with an electronic control unit. So he has a lot of possibilities. You can see how many degrees are in the room now, program it to heat up to a certain temperature and set a timer (but I haven’t fully figured out this function, so I don’t use it). Also, the convector is equipped with security systems and automatically turns off in case of overheating and capsizing. Should turn off at least. Too short and not very clear instructions. For example, I did not understand the timer. |

It would, of course, be better to make independent heating, but with the rules existing in apartment buildings this is unrealistic. So I ordered an electric convector on the Web, received it and now I'm warming myself with it. The convector chose the descendant that oil radiators warm up for a long time, and here, after a couple of minutes, there is a pleasant current of hot air. It heats up quickly, powerfully and I wanted to say that it is inexpensive, but no, for the money it does not come out as cheap as we would like. However, in an apartment high-rise building there is simply no other alternative. Perhaps oil coolers, but this is almost the same as the convector only warms up ten times slower. And this convector gives heat immediately after switching on. Warm air at the outlets appears in the first minute of operation. Perfect for a small room or as an additional heating device. It is able to maintain the temperature set using the thermostat, and it also has an economical mode in which electricity consumption is halved. There is protection against overheating and the convector automatically turns off when tipping over. Two years warranty. The first inclusion was accompanied by a strong unpleasant odor and even a slight haze, apparently the contaminated surface of the heating element was burned. Then the smell was less, and after twenty hours of work it disappeared completely. |
