In addition to a large household, I have a small grocery store, and I bought this generator for it. Since our village is large and extended, and we only have two such stores, there are enough buyers. And everything would be great if it weren’t for problems with the power supply. This has always been difficult for us, but in the last year it has gotten even worse. There is no way to allow refrigerators to defrost in the summer heat, and even if there are not so many of them (only 4 pieces: drinks, ice cream, semi-finished seafood and cheese and sausage), but the total cost of the goods in them is very decent. And this inexpensive device is very helpful during outages. Convenient design. Putting a frame with a generator on a wheelset is a good solution. If necessary, the saleswoman can roll it out onto the street and start it herself. Although the weight is still decent and can be felt even on wheels. Pulls four refrigerators and fluorescent lighting. True, the simultaneous start of all refrigerators is very undesirable. Apparently, the peak power is too high. Economical, burns 1-1.2 liters of 92 gasoline per hour of operation under load. It starts manually, but is quite easy. At least in the summer, I’ll find out what will happen in the winter in four months. There is a one-year warranty. This is not Germany, as they say in the descriptions of some online stores. The Scheppach company itself may be registered in Germany, but the generator production itself is located in China. If you do not start it immediately after a power outage and allow the refrigerators to warm up at least a little, then with their simultaneous start they can knock out the generator’s protection. The problem is solved by connecting one by one with an interval of 10-15 seconds. In this mode, its power is sufficient. |
