Combining a bike and a stroller for children who are over a year old is an interesting idea that my wife and I liked. But at first, we did not like the way the manufacturers of such bicycle strollers solve the issues of convenience for small passengers. Most of the "Mars", "trikes" and other "Lexuses" were not at all suitable for our twelve-month-old son for one simple reason - the lack of a full-fledged supporting back, which is very desirable at this age. But in this model, both with the back and with seat belts, everything is just fine. Comfortable and secure fit for baby. It seems to me that the presence of a full-fledged high seat back, comfortable armrests and normal shoulder straps is especially important. The upholstery is removable, we already had to wash it once, and this procedure did not affect its appearance in any way. I think that in ten months, by the beginning of the next summer season, we will remove the soft seat with straps and we will already ride almost like adults. Removing the baby seat is easy. Now we ride with the pedals folded down and our feet can't even reach the folding footpegs. The steering wheel can be given full possession to the baby, and controlled by a special parental handle. In this model, it is well adjustable in height, which helped me out, because with a height of 190 cm it is extremely inconvenient to constantly lean towards it. It spins easily and naturally. Zhenya found it very useful to have a good foot brake on the rear wheels (the one under the basket), which prevents the bicycle stroller from moving on its own. Depreciation is weak. If there is still some shock-absorbing ability on the front wheel, then on the rear, in this sense, everything is very sad. The problem is aggravated by the fact that the wheels are small for foam rubber. So on a bad surface, shaking is unpleasant. |
