My wife was engaged in the design of the kitchen, and it was she who came up with the idea to make a countertop from high-quality artificial stone. The idea is not bad, because such a stone, obtained by mixing hard mineral materials with polymer resin, is really well suited as a countertop. True, and it cost a lot of money. And it was also not easy to choose a sink for such a countertop, which, according to the project, had to go under the countertop. But I did an excellent job with this.

It goes well with the overall design of the kitchen. The simple rectangular shape, which is recessed under the countertop, is simply flawless in terms of appearance. The material of the sink is high-quality corrosion-resistant steel 18/10, that is, the best food-grade stainless steel that can only be found in the kitchen. It is resistant to the chemical attack of products in general and food acids in particular, but can produce colored spots when some household chemicals that are oxidizing agents come into contact with the surface. Polished stainless steel collects all the traces that can appear on it. Grease stains, hardness salts from dried water drops, colored stains from poorly selected household chemicals - all this is not just noticeable, it is striking. After all, every speck of dust is visible on the polished surface. So before buying, think carefully about whether you are ready to endure the annoyance of your wife, who will kill a lot of time to care for this sink.

At first, in the first version of the kitchen project, we were going to make the sink a consignment note, and put the countertop in a regular, laminated one. But then I wanted to change the countertop to an artificial stone, and to expand the free space of the work surface, they decided to place the sink under the countertop. In the end, everything turned out great, the new kitchen is super.

The sink is strict, one might say classic, made of fairly thick polished stainless steel. The bowl is large enough, the drain is wide with a convenient complete valve. Stainless steel, in my opinion, is the best material for washing of all. Why do I think so? And here's why: 1) stainless steel is hygienic and does not corrode even in aggressive environments, in particular, medical instruments and equipment for large-capacity food production are made from this steel; 2) it is easy to clean, especially for a polished flat surface, and this is exactly what is used in this sink; 3) 18/10 stainless steel, which was used as a material in this sink, has high strength and the bowl can be deformed only by a strong accented blow 4) a well-maintained stainless steel sink looks great. Long warranty.

On a smooth polished stainless steel surface, all impurities are very clearly visible. Not all household chemicals are suitable for caring for such a sink. For example, cleaning compounds with sodium hypochlorite leave deep colored marks on stainless steel.
