PJSC "Uralmashzavod" from Yekaterinburg, better known as simply "Uralmash", is one of the largest manufacturers of equipment for mining, energy, metallurgy and other industries in Russia.

The construction of the plant began in 1928, when all the necessary documents and drawings were prepared. Most of the equipment was purchased from foreign companies, mostly German, and foreign specialists were involved in the construction and launch of the plant.
