Despite the affordable price, TCL P63 series TVs demonstrate decent image quality, support most modern technologies, including HDR10/Dolby Vision, and at the same time belong to the lower level of the mid-price segment. They can also artificially scale the original video resolution, increasing clarity from conventional Full HD to 4K, and also support primitive algorithms for optimizing image brightness and contrast.

The affordable price of TCL P63 TVs is dictated by the fact that they are more designed for multimedia use and are not quite ready for the demands of modern sports broadcasts, blockbusters and video games. In particular, they do not support scan rates higher than 60 Hz, are not compatible with FreeSync/G-Sync technologies, and do not have a record-breaking matrix response speed. Therefore, we are not talking about any “PlayStation 5 Ready” certification. Rather, this line of TVs is aimed at casual users who have not yet tasted the delights of OLED screens and Mini-LED backlighting.

The assortment of the TCL P63 series is dominated by TV panels with diagonals from 43 to 65 inches. All of them are equipped with a fairly simple 20W stereo system with support for Dolby Atmos virtual sound. Mandatory elements of the program are an up-to-date Wi-Fi receiver, several HDMI 2.1 outputs, USB ports, a LAN network connector, support for Chromecast signal transmission technologies, as well as integrated voice assistants from Google and Amazon.
