The Atoll 203 cartridge set includes three filters: Pentek P5, Pentek GAC-10 and Pentek EPM-10. The Pentek P5 cartridge is made of foamed polypropylene and performs water purification from mechanical impurities (corrosion products of steel pipes, sand, silt and other suspended particles). It has a proprietary feature — an increased bulk density of polymer fibers in a deeper, inner layer. This makes it possible to perform continuous filtration of large and smal...l particles with a size of up to 5 microns. The working volume of the second Pentek GAC-10 cartridge is filled with granular activated carbon. This filter is designed to absorb active chlorine compounds, heavy metal ions, organic and organochlorine impurities. The cartridge is equipped with a 20-micron post-filter that traps carbon microparticles washed out by the water flow. The third Pentek EPM-10 cartridge is similar in design to the second and is filled with pressed activated carbon, which neutralizes unpleasant tastes and odours.
