Definitely SOUND, it is exactly as it was recorded; if a drum hits, it hits, without falling apart, not bursting, or being stifled. Violin, saxophone, keyboard, or guitar play very naturally, clearly, and without embellishments, the mid-range "sings," no words needed. A very flat frequency response probably across the entire range. It's very pleasant to listen even to those songs that were rarely listened to before. Purely subjectively: The ear pads really do tear if removed carelessly (but they are standard and can be purchased on AliExpress). The charger is exclusively for these headphones and I've never seen anything like it before. B&W c5s2 play loudly, with powerful, firm, but sometimes bloated bass (it's like when a subwoofer with a phase inverter is blowing where it should hit precisely), the midrange and highs are clear, transparent, but embellished. They play mega well for club music, but lack the cohesiveness, rhythm typical of the Byrons. Realistically, all my friends and my wife liked the Byrons more, and only one friend liked the B&W c5s2 more, but only because he has the same ones and is a big fan of this brand; he has a top-of-the-line home setup from this brand and doesn't acknowledge anyone else, except for Dali, but they don't make headphones.
