Do not buy!!!
5 April 2017
After detecting rust, I contacted the service center and was told that it's not a warranty case, I'm shocked! Modern Bosch is complete garbage, I will never buy this low-quality appliance again.
Disappeared after the appearance of rust
The heating disc has rusted.

great model, love it

Convenient and well-made kettle, satisfies everyone so far.
A decent kettle, visually appealing, metal always looks great, and it works well. Water boils quickly in it, seems faster than in my previous model. The volume of this model is 1.7 liters, which is quite suitable for a family, and it's also perfectly fine for an office. It has a concealed heating element, other options weren't even considered since all that scale buildup is harmful and looks unaesthetic. There's a limescale filter. The cord is conveniently designed; it can be wrapped under the base, so if the kettle is right next to the outlet like ours, the cord doesn't get in the way at all. I like the thoughtful little features in the kettle, for instance, there's a light when it's turned on, so you can visually see that it’s boiling. Additionally, the lid locks when the kettle is on, which also enhances safety. It's made with quality in mind, the parts are well thought-out and made from quality materials, which is noticeable. The lid, which is crucial for such models, fits securely and opens conveniently.
It's very difficult to see how much water is in the kettle. There's an indicator, but you really have to look closely; just walking into the kitchen from afar, it's impossible to determine.

Overall, it's a decent kettle. However, I would not recommend purchasing it.
25 September 2021
I've been using it for 2 years. It rattles like a freight train. But overall, it performs its task.
Thick walls. Powerful, heats quickly.
Very, VERY noisy.
It's very hard to see the water level.
It leaked along the welded seam after a year. Sealed it with sealant, still in use.
