How to choose a food processorLet's figure out how a food processor differs from a kitchen machine and what to look for when buying one

How to choose a planetary mixerPower, body and bowl materials, modes and other features for choosing a planetary mixer
I chose and purchased this food processor myself. First and foremost, I needed a helper for quick product slicing because our family is not small, and usually, this monotonous procedure takes a lot of time. The processor seemed to me a promising assistant, and in practice, it turned out that way. Besides, we didn't have a blender. It slices and chops vegetables, fruits, and generally any moderately firm and not too sticky products excellently. For this, it comes with two plastic disc blades with interchangeable metal inserts. By changing the inserts, you can get thin or thick slices, finely grated like with a fine grater or coarsely grated. The cutting inserts are very sharp; my husband says they are made of high-quality steel. The quality of the slicing or chopping is very good. My family is quietly thrilled with the French fries, which I now beautifully cut with the processor. The dough kneading mode turned out to be useful as well. I didn't have high expectations for it, but it turned out to be quite good—handling sponge cake batter confidently and with quality. The whisk attachment also pleased us, producing excellent results with whipped cream and meringue. The blender is decent, chops and mixes very energetically. There is also a citrus juicer press, but I haven't used it yet. In my opinion, the manufacturer overcomplicated it a bit with the two control knobs. Sometimes I grab the wrong knob and mess up the settings or turn it on at the wrong speed. |
