Normal memory :) on Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE + R 3600 started up at 3600 with timings 16-19-16-36 but if you get confused, I think you can set up more than normal (I'm not special at all :) ) Norm memory The price could have been lower :) ![]() |
I was choosing between this memory and the HyperX HX432C16FB3K2/32 for a new system with a 3700x and an Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) motherboard. I ended up choosing this one because it uses Micron chips and based on advice from the 4pda forum. Kingston memory is also good, but the chips are more of a gamble due to randomness. The motherboard initially set some arbitrary auto overclock, including voltage above 1.4. After manual adjustment, everything was set correctly, as seen in the pictures with the test at 1.35v, frequency of 3200, and auto timings in one and in the other picture with its default settings. On the motherboard, these are the first 5 numbers in the settings, if set manually to 16-18-18-18-36. In Windows 10, this amount of memory is more than enough, and in everyday tasks, I rarely managed to load it beyond 20 GB. In this particular model, I also liked the reasonably tall heatsinks and the absence of the lighting that's shoved into every nook and cranny these days. The fact that they are white is a bit concerning for me, but on the other hand, under my cooler, they're not visible at all, so it doesn't really matter what color they are as long as the memory works as it should. - no backlight - moderately high radiators, fit under Noctua NH-D14 - easily reached 3200 on profile at the time of purchase, I was unlucky and there were no black ones available and I had to take a set of white ones ![]() |
