After about 5 uses, the top part (lid) fell off. Upon examination, it was found that the plastic feigned strap that is located on the lid and fastens the hinges between the upper and lower parts has burst in three places at once. Nonsense, but in the place that bears the biggest load (when compressing the buters), they put a part made of thin and low-quality plastic! Although there suggests metal. Basically a shitty thing... I bought a sandwich maker mainly for sandwiches, and sandwiches are excellent and very fast. Good quality, lots of attachments On the second day, the left side of the plastic turned yellow after the waffles were baked. Waffles according to the attached recipe did not turn out. Cupcake and donut tins are sooooo small, so cupcakes will probably be 2cm high at most, and donuts are bagel shaped, so donut and cupcake utensils will most likely not be used (I haven't tried it yet though). I chose between the DEX 26 and DEX 36 models and chose the DEX 26 (smaller) and I don’t regret it, because I don’t have time to put sandwiches into a small sandwich maker. use DEX DSM-26 week |

The "chip" of the device is the presence of a number of interchangeable plates. The delivery set includes as many as 6 different nozzles, each of which is focused on cooking its own kind of goodies: sandwiches, waffles, muffins, donuts, nut cookies and a mini grill. The last removable surface is designed both for frying meat or fish, and for cooking vegetables or grilled mushrooms. All nozzles are easy to install, have a high-quality non-stick coating and are easy to clean after use.
Design
For the purpose of uniform contact of products with working surfaces, a locking mechanism is located on the handles of the sandwich maker. Judging by the numerous reviews of the owners, it does not have a high degree of reliability, so it should be used with caution so as not to accidentally break the mount (the weak point of the latch). The handles themselves do not heat up during operation, which cannot be said about the upper part of the device case. Over time, due to excessive heat, the paint on the lid may turn yellow or blister.
Assistant
The model with the DSM-26 index will become an assistant in the quick preparation of breakfasts or snacks for a small family of one or two people. For a large family, it is better to look at the DEX DSM-36 sandwich maker, which has a larger working surface and higher power (1400 W versus 760 W for the DSM-26 model).

The plastic swivel hinge broke after a few uses, less than a month. We were denied service under warranty, making a fictitious claim that I allegedly dropped a sandwich maker. Moreover, because of this fictitious reason, the warranty was completely deprived. Hinges bought, changed themselves. after 3-4 months, the sandwich maker stopped working. We turned to the service center, and there they again stated that we allegedly dropped it and therefore the warranty was canceled. Therefore, in no case do not spend your money on this model if it is not improved.
