Durability. price price of course. and it constantly takes away light colors in the print instead of the original ones, which is why you often have to clean it. and this is 40 minutes of downtime all the time. ![]() |
Horrible model. I contacted the service several times - and there was constantly a lack of sealing. As a result, it barely worked for a year and, as the cherry on top, there was a crack in the head, even though it was used at home. It barely worked for a year. I will throw it away and never choose Epson again. It’s better to spend a little more money on cartridges with built-in heads like HP's than to deal with Epson's junk. Prints well No reliability ![]() |
The device is good, with a built-in CISS, but this does not mean that it does not require due attention; you must definitely monitor the ink level in the containers. Then you won’t need to do any cleaning and you can print high-quality photos and printouts. Fast printing, no need to buy cartridges, affordable, small, reliable, bright printing for photos. There is no scanner and copier, you need to pump it up when you first start it, sometimes it makes noise (at the maximum photo print size and at maximum settings), there is no cable included for connecting to a PC use Epson EcoTank L805 month or more i recommend it should buy |
The Epson "Print Factory" series includes serious models for photo printing equipped with a continuous ink supply system. The Epson L805 printer is well suited for the role of a home "workhorse," allowing you to create a vast archive of family photographs.
Factory CISS
The six-color factory CISS replaces traditional cartridges and is closely attached to the right edge of the printer's body. The contents in its tanks are enough to produce approximately 1800 prints in the common 10x15 cm format. The printer can handle printing on both thick sheets of paper with a density of up to 300 g/sq.m and compact discs loaded into a separate tray.
Thorough approach
The printer performs its main duties leisurely, leaving up to 5 prints in the output tray per minute. However, it approaches the task with particular thoroughness, ensuring that the quality of the printed photos is comparable to that of professional equipment. The printer only achieves rapid print speeds in draft mode (up to 37 pages/min.), but you have to accept that the text in this case may acquire a slightly brownish tint.
Minimalism
The minimalist design of the printing device does not include a display on the model. Printing settings are adjusted using illuminated buttons, and flexible parameter changes are made through associated applications for PCs and mobile gadgets. The latter connect to the printer via a wireless Wi-Fi connection. The Epson L805 delivers truly excellent results, making it a genuine home print factory when frequent photo printing is required.
Those who say it's a depressurization issue - I noticed it too, but not with water-based ink, only with original ink, and it doesn't matter if it's the L805 or L800, even the R290; in general, there's this issue, especially with the blue color, it's a constant problem. They must be adding something in there, the manufacturer; I use Korean water-based or Chinese ink. There are no complaints with 3 models. Even the L800 was. Now, another one is being used by the company, and they've been using it for 5 or 7 years, I don't remember.
Apparently, it also depends on the assembly and who assembled it. If it's in China, expect trouble; if it's the Philippines or Indonesia, they work fine, by the way, the Filipino ones work well.
