A set of filter cartridges used in systems of three-stage purification of cold water of increased hardness for drinking systems. Provides consistent mechanical, ion-exchange and sorption cleaning. Removes suspended particles, hardness salts, active chlorine compounds, organics (including oil products, humic and organochlorine substances), heavy metal ions. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, intended for use in the Geyser 3 VK Lux and Geyser Standard systems. Can be used in other three-panel units designed to use 10" x 2.5" filters. The Gejzer Komplekt C-2 cartridge set includes three filters. The first stage uses a PP-5 cartridge made of foamed polypropylene, which effectively retains any mechanical impurities up to 5 microns in size (corrosion products of steel pi...pes, sand, silt, etc.). The second stage uses a BS cartridge filled with food-grade ion-exchange resin. At the third stage, water is passed through a BAF filter filled with a mixture of activated carbon, MMB granular carbon fibre and Catalon ion-exchange material.
