So, feel the difference)) Of course, a vertical freezer will be more convenient to use, it's silly to argue with that. But I still wouldn’t be able to spend $1000, and one can reconcile with the relative inconvenience of the chest, because it also has obvious advantages. The useful capacity here is 380 liters, which is really a lot. My wife and I specifically chose such a spacious model to help our son and daughter with their grandchildren. They simply cannot afford a large freezer, money is tight, and their living conditions are cramped, etc., but the grandchildren will not suffer because of this. My wife and I, that is "grandpa and grandma," live in a private house with a small garden and can prepare fruit and partly vegetables for three families, including ours. This large and powerful chest freezer, according to the manual, can freeze up to 26 kg of food. In practice, our record was about 8 kg, and those were already chilled products from the refrigerator. I'm not disputing, maybe it could freeze 26 kg of warm products, but I wouldn't seriously count on it. The volume is divided into large and small compartments, and the set also includes two very useful and convenient baskets. It has simple and reliable mechanical controls, and it is not afraid of slight voltage fluctuations. Not as easy to maintain as a vertical cabinet with drawers. Large dimensions, as much as 130 cm in width. Such a whopper, even in our spacious pantry, took up a lot of space. |
