The mid-budget, single-person tent from the Highlander brand is positioned as a practical choice for hiking. It is designed for three seasons and can be used in windy and wet conditions. The model can be considered a low-profile solution (height 75 cm), which increases resistance to wind, but at the same time somewhat reduces the internal space. The Highlander Blackthorn 1 HMTC tent has a frame made of fairly thin (6.9 mm) fiberglass poles.

It is stated that assembly will take about 5 minutes, yes, and when carrying it there should not be any particular discomfort due to the heaviness (weight 1.5 kg). The awning is traditionally made of polyester fabric and coated with a special polyurethane impregnation, which provides moderate water resistance of 2000 mm water column.
