We go to the nature of the whole family, and usually we go in two or three cars, together with friends. There is a large reservoir 50 kilometers from the city, but not only and not so much the reservoir itself is valuable, but the huge coniferous forest growing right on the shore. The air is exceptional, I absolutely do not want to leave there at the end of the weekend. Usually we go there on Friday evening and return on Sunday evening. We have a large family tent, but in addition to it, my wife wanted to have a large spacious tent. There is a sense in this, the tent is under the trees and it is a bit dark, and the tent can be put up in a more open place. It is good for children to play in it, it is also convenient to arrange feasts there, and in this case, rain is no longer a hindrance to such a holiday. Big and very spacious. Its dimensions are 3 by 3 meters and 2 meters in height. That means it has the inner volume of a small room! You can comfortably seat 7-8 people around the "table" without feeling cramped. The material of the tent is water-resistant, and the floor is also made of waterproof reinforced polyethylene. However, like all polyethylenes, it is susceptible to sharp objects. We discovered this during the first setup when we damaged it with a sharp branch fragment. It ventilates excellently. It has a sturdy combined frame made of steel and fiberglass. The complete set weighs 10 kg when folded. For car transportation, the weight doesn't matter much, but you can't carry such a heavy load far by hand. The tent is tall and has a huge sail area. Therefore, it can withstand strong winds only with all the guy lines fully extended. Even then, the poles tend to bend quite a bit. It handles rain well only when there's no strong wind. If there is wind, the curtains might leak; for full protection, they need some "fine-tuning." |
