How to choose a backpack for hikingVolume, suspension system, pockets and other criteria for choosing a hiking backpack

Maxpedition Monsoon Gearslinger 16 L price graph

The backpack is good, durable, practical, but expensive in terms of price.
    14 August 2017
I bought it in 2013 and have been using it to this day. Not a single seam has torn, and the zippers are intact. I only used it in the city. Carried it to work every day. It's not designed for heavy loads. The maximum I carried was 12 kg. The backpack holds up fine but slips down to the butt because of the long strap.
you can attach various pouches to it. It's like a construction set; you can complement the backpack with different pouches.
The long strap, when the backpack is loaded, rests on the butt. The strap needs to be shortened. The backpack slides down to the butt, meaning it doesn't hang on the back but slides down, which is inconvenient when carrying heavy items in the backpack.
